another space becomes available in our Shelter to rescue a homeless pet in need.

*Please Note:
If you become approved to adopt from us and choose to commit to a certain animal that at the time is too young to adopt or may still need vaccinations or spay/neuter, we will accept a deposit to hold the animal for you until he/she is ready to go home but please know that if you change your mind or if your circumstances change and you are no longer able to complete the adoption, these deposits are nonrefundable.
The amount of this "HOLD FEE" varies, is set by Shelter management and depends on the animal in question.

Frazier

Male Lab mix Needs to be an Only Dog

Meet Frazier, the ultimate furry tornado of joy! This young, loyal, and ridiculously smart pup prefers the spotlight as the only animal in the house. He’s potty-trained, soon-to-be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and all his lab work will be done—talk about a package deal! Frazier would love an active couple or a family with older kids to match his boundless energy (and to keep up with his zoomies). He’s a big-hearted boy just waiting to steal your couch and your heart! SL268240.

Riley
Young Adult Male Shepherd
Crandon, WI
Not an apartment dog
SPONSOR MY FOOD HERE

Meet Riley! Riley is not only gorgeous and sweet, but also HUGE—about 120 pounds of pure love. He’s not quite ready for his new home yet, as he’s waiting for his veterinary appointment, but applications are being accepted so he can be adopted once he’s cleared. He needs a strong person to walk him and a fenced yard to roam. He’s almost the size of a Shetland pony—just kidding, but close—and definitely needs space to move around. Riley is a fantastic dog, so get your application in ASAP! SL268240

Bindi
Young Adult Shepherd Mix

IMG_7280.jpg

Meet Bindi! She’s a young adult female mix bursting with energy and affection. A talented high jumper, she might even have the skills of an Olympic superstar. Potty trained and fond of spending time in the yard, she’s a sweet dog who needs to be the only female or introduced to others in a controlled setting, as all dogs should be. Bindi would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard or a ten-by-ten enclosure where she can go out unsupervised. She loves people and soaking up attention. If she sounds like the perfect match, send in your application to meet her!

ALL puppies have to have a cash deposit left that you will receive back when you neuter or will be applied to neuter when they are old enough.  Sorry for the change but we have had issues with PayPal cancelations and worthless checks being used.

Dodger

Whippet/Bull Terrier Mix
image_edited.jpg
Meet the dashing Dodger! This wonderful young adult mixed breed is bursting with energy and playfulness. Dodger is great on a leash but has a knack for being an escape artist. His ideal home would be with someone who leads an active lifestyle and has plenty of space for him to burn off his energy. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, has completed blood work, and has been vet-checked. If you’re ready to meet the charming Dodger, submit your application ASAP! SL268240

Banner
Blue Tick Hound

Meet Banner!  Banner is a great big lovable boy with a jiggle in his neck wiggle.  He is great with other dogs and people.  He is about one year old and would do well in a home with an active lifestyle to be able to allow him to follow his nose around while being supervised...otherwise, his nose will surely lead him into trouble.  <3 To meet Banner get us your application ASAP.

Piper
Young Female Adult Mixed Breed

Meet Piper! Piper is a beautiful, intelligent young adult female looking for her forever home. Like Bindi, she’s an Olympian-level jumper and runner. She could probably do the high jump and catapult over a fence—just kidding! But she’s full of energy, and her perfect home would be with someone who has an active lifestyle. She’s potty trained, very affectionate, and loves attention. Sometimes she can get overexcited, channeling her energy into jumping and twirling like a doggy ballerina. She needs a patient home to help her find a good outlet for her enthusiasm. To meet Piper, submit your application ASAP. SL268240

Pumpkin Jack
Male Mixed breed

chunk.jpg
Meet Jack! This lovable, big-hearted boy was abandoned at FCHS on Halloween. He’s a sweet, wiggly bundle of joy and a true cuddle enthusiast. Around four years old, he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had his blood work done. Jack is Lyme-positive but is currently receiving treatment. Although we don't know much about him, we know he deserves a wonderful life where his family will treasure him for the wonderful dog he is. If you’d like to welcome this gentle giant into your home, please submit your application as soon as possible.

Queso Blanco
one year old male GSD

queso.jpg
Meet the handsome hero, Queso Blanco!  This handsome young male is an amazing dog.  He is fully potty trained, knows tricks and will even go to the door and bark when he has to go outside we have been told by his past owner.  He loves getting his sweaters on, and walks well on a leash.  He has one issue, and that is smaller animals like cats or possibly other small animals that would be interacting with him.  It is not him being mean, it is his natural born instinct to herd them and it is too much for small animals.  He is not an apartment sized dog, and needs someone that will be able to take him for daily walks to help him get his exercise.  He has beautiful, longer coat that does shed.  He will need regular grooming. I am listing he is not good with the elderly only because of his instincts to herd and children over twelve for the same reason.  If you would like to find out more about this beautiful boy, get me your application ASAP. Tater

IMG_8076_edited.jpg
Young Male Mixed Breed

Meet Tater!  Tater is highly energetic, and would do best with an owner meeting that same energy.  He would do well with a non-dominant female dog or as an only dog.  He is a dog that needs someone with dog experience to be able to help him meet his potential as an amazing, loyal companion.  To meet Tater, please get me your application ASAP.

Mystic

Adult German Shepherd Mix

mystic.jpg
Meet Mystic! She’s a stunning girl who needs to be the only diva in the home. She adores her family but isn’t suited for apartment living or trips to the dog park, as she doesn’t get along with other dogs. Protective and selective about who joins her inner circle, Mystic is a beauty on the lookout for her forever home. She’s strong yet incredibly loving. If you’d like to meet her, send in your application right away. SL 268240
