Exciting membership rewards are coming in November’s membership drive! We’ll be offering tiered memberships, each with unique perks for supporters. For example, one level may include free vaccines, microchipping, flea and tick preventatives, priority appointments for vaccine clinics, and other exciting opportunities. More updates are on the way. We’re also introducing a secure digital voting system for electing board member representatives—only paid members are eligible to vote, so stay tuned for the announcement and voting link. Additionally, we've added a new clause: any member who violates the Healing Hearts Humane Society/FCHS code of conduct and mission statement, including actions intended to harm the society, its volunteers, staff, or board members, will be removed and banned from facility operations. As we launch committees under our restructured business, participation representing HHHS/FCHS requires membership. These changes stem from recent events that required consequences for unacceptable behavior that harmed the adoption process and the well-being of animals in Forest County.
